- Complaint content: description of facts, dates, amounts, and attachments (invoices, photos, contracts).
- Communications: messages exchanged between consumers and businesses inside the Platform and via email.
- Usage data: IP address, browser, pages visited, and cookies essential to operating the service.
- Payment data (businesses): processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Process complaints and enable business responses — performance of a contract.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.
- Build public business reputation and aggregate statistics — legitimate interest.
- Send updates on case progress — performance of a contract.
- Optional marketing — consent, withdrawable at any time.
- Fraud prevention and platform security — legitimate interest.
4. Sharing
We share only the data strictly necessary with: the business named in the complaint (so it can respond), the consumer protection authority competent for your country when you choose to escalate, and processors that provide services on our behalf (hosting, email/SMS delivery, payments, AI assistance for drafting). All processors operate under contract and security standards equivalent to ours.
5. International Transfers
Some processors may handle data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (EU/UK), adequacy decisions, or equivalent mechanisms recognised by your local authority.
6. Public Content
Closed complaints and reviews may be displayed publicly as part of a business's reputation, without exposing your contact details. You may request anonymisation of your name at any time.
7. Retention
We retain data while your account is active and for as long as needed to comply with legal obligations in your jurisdiction (typically up to 5 years). After that period, data is anonymised or deleted.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your country, you may have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data.
- Request deletion, anonymisation, or restriction of processing.

11. Children
The Platform is not intended for individuals below the age of majority in their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
